PASS ON YET LINGER HERE A WHILE BROTHER CALLS YET STAY TO BROTHER YET LINGER HERE A WHILE
This one (thermlin) was saddened to hear of the passing of Russel Means. Perhaps the most recognisable modern day face of 'The American Indian' in the wider world beyond the shores of turtle island. In part thanks to Hollywood and the mass media,he helped to raise awareness of the plight of the Oyate, both through action and influence. His desire to change things for the better for his people never faltered and he served as an inspiration to many far beyond his ken. This one (thermlin) hopes that his passing was peaceful and that the songs of his ancestors will greet him to the happy hunting grounds.
