National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, SB 1867 has passed the Untied Snakes Senate in a vote of 93 - 7. This bill is effectivley publicly confirming that the United Snakes of America is a police state and giving broad authority to arrest, detain, and not allow any form of due process. The National Defense Authorization Act effectively repeals the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act, effectivly allowing the branches of the millitary to take action against American citizens. It further derails virtually all civil rights by allowing for a very broad and ambigous interpetation of who a terrorist is. A portion of the bill specifies that those suspected of supporting terrorist or terror organisations may be detained without being allowed and attorney, without ever going before a judge, and with no due process and detained for as long as nessasary.
Does this leave any question as to why FEMA has so many vaccant large facilities sitting around the country and why they are stock piling massive amounts of body bags and coffins?
Some of the language in the bill that defines a terrorist is scary, indicators of a possible sponsor of terror..... A person who keeps and maintains a food reserve of more than 7 days, a person who posses multiple fire arms, persons who trade and search out certain types of information electronicly, persons who express discontent with Government policy and actions, persons who use cash for payment.
It is a massive piece of legislation that if and when signed into law will could very well have serious implications for the first nations as well as every citizen of the United Snakes.

Specifically speaking, in modern U.S. that is middle-class people who have lived fairly cushy lives since the 1970's, who have failed to question the authority of government, but who also worked continually to support their families and work towards their flimsy materialistic dreams. Without this group of people the United States will be shown for what it really is : a vast and complex tyrannical parasite on the earth, defined by racism and an unquenchable desire to amass resources and pointless objects, to be horded and discarded with equal obsession.

Strangely, I see this as a hopeful sign. Now that the dog is so obviously rabid, it can't stand on its own for long. Change must certainly come.

SR, this does not surprise me. On a thread I started titled The Terrorism Industrial Complex a person stated that they were going after anti-war and environmental people as terrorist. The bill that black feather signed had minor modifications but did not, as far as I can tell, change what constitutes a terrorist. To me, if you do not have more than a seven day food supply on hand you are either really poor or pretty damned stupid. When I was growing up the grain silos were overflowing and as you once noted the silos are pretty much empty. Yes, better to sell it and make a buck than make sure the population can be fed. We are just one crop failure, for whatever reason, away from a full scale calamity.

I don't know if you clicked on the links I posted on this thread but the one about the FBI being behind all the domestic terrorist plots is another no brainer. Right after 9/11 there was a case close to where I live. An informant supposedly infiltrated a mosque and charges were brought against a father and son. At trial it came out that no one from the mosque knew or could remember this person and his testimony was thrown out for perjury (no charges though). However the father and son are in prison for lying to the FBI on a minor matter. Yup, "with liberty and justice for all."

I have been following this Occupy movement and in city after city I've seen cops video taping and photographing the protesters and then beating the crap out of people that were photographing or taping them before the demonstrators were arrested for their actions.

The good thing is indeed that people are starting to see but most people are like sheep that will listen to what they are told and then go cower in a corner as instructed. With so much power and so many resources available this Nation has had every opportunity to do great good but at every turn through history a facade of good has been erected to hide the flow of greed and injustice. A few weeks ago I had a heated debate with a woman that argued that the United Snakes never had a active eugenics program....... In talking to many other people in my own age range not one knew that there were Eugenics programs that were funded by the tax payers, if the powers that be could hide a program that targeted entire socila and cultural groups for reduction or extermination back then, and very few people care enough to know that it even existed, I can only imagine what is lurking behind the facade today. In regards to this SB Hotler did not break any laws of Germany, the laws were changed to make the Nazi parties actions legal. SR, I am rather surprised that people your age don't know about the eugenics program. But it is good that some are finally awakening. I always really liked reading the paper. I often found that the most important stories were hidden in small columns deep inside the paper. I guess most people just read over them. But the eugenics has been front and center many times over the years.

On the patriot act, the one newsletter from my son's high school I did not read in a timely manner had a one time opt out of the military portion. I read it a day late (story of my life, "day late a dollar short"). Seems that if you did not sign and for all others forever more, military recruiters would have access to every school child's records from the 4th grade forward. Being the paranoid SOB that I am it seemed pretty apparent that the powers that be could suddenly say "Well, if you are on this data base, we have now put them into the Selective Service data base."

SR: I agree. The majority of people today are sheeple, and now we have sheeplets to look forward to. Sheeplets who have been fed nothing but video games, X-box, or the latest American Idol star; our lost children who turn to gangs and drugs, because it is the only "family" connection they know. We're heading for a rude awakening; and unfortunately, our younger generation will reap the devastation of the generation before them. Can we change that? That's difficult to say. I was just glancing at Yahoo news before popping in here, I notice this pretty much everyday..........Most of the news day in and dayout is about sports and celbrities. I pick up a paper it is the same only with more adverts, TV the same with more commercials than news. Even the news networks are getting to be opinion pieces that are just political soap boxes.
It is a sad state of affairs when a kid sitting in Nevada with a video monitor and a joy stick can fir a missile and kill 100 or more people with no more emotion than playing a game of modern warfare with his buddies online. It is an even more sad thing when these same drones are being pushed to used rigth here in the United Snakes by police forces to "monitor" civilian activities.
It does not take much of a leap with legislation like this on the books to strap a cruise missile onto the drone to knock out domestic terrorist (For our own safety and security of course)

I hate animal control people, I did not used to........ Then one night my big dog was laying next to me and I sat up on my elbow and his paw was right under it, I imagine it hurt and he was sound asleep and well bit my none off (literally) I spent the rest of the night in the hospital with a plastic surgeon reattaching my nose. I got home the next morning around 10am with some sooper dooper pain meds and was drifting off to sleep with the big dog curled around my feet when the phone rang. It was a Animal Control officer informing me that she would be coming out to take custody of my dog and that he would be held for a minimum of 14 days and evaluated.
Sandy was a big dog around 80 pounds and looked mean but did not have a mean bone in his body. I did not blame him at all for the detached nose thing, hell I would have probably done the same thing if I were him. Anyway 20 minutes later this A hole woman another animal control officer and 4 police show up to take Sandy. I am ready to fight them to the death over the matter when my wife pulls in and is instantly treated even more like dirt than I had been. After much arguing and much debate and a long call to the A holes supervisor it was agreed that Sandy would not be taken to the county pound but instead could be taken to my vet and boarded for 14 days. And my vet evaluate his disposition. A small victory but atleast my best friend was not going to the Sangamon county dog execution center. With a power tripping woman with a bad attitude to do the evaluation.
The same woman (Stacey Ballard) She is a bit of a public figure in IL. now since she allowed a horse rescue with dead horses laying all over the farm to keep operating. Moved up to the State Department of Ag animal welfare unit. All of the sudden I am being investigated by her everytime I turn around with her claiming my horses are starving, that I treat them inhumanely. this was because their water trough was empty when her and her as usual police escort showed up, I had emptied it and was bleach washing it. She kicked the bleach bottle and cleaning bucket out of the way and took several pictures of the empty water trough and gave me a citation for not providing adequate water along with a lingthy corrective action plan.About a week later she shows up to investigate a complaint that I have a dead chicken in my ornamental pond. Which I did indeed have after a coon killed a chicken and left the remains by the pond, No clue how she knew I had a dead chicken there before I knew, you guessed it another citation for improper disposal of a dead animal. On and on this went for a year and a half until I moved the farm 230 miles away and out of her area of operation. During one of her Nazi Like visits she informed out of ear shot of everyone else that I should not have screwed with her when she came to take my dog....... Amazingly I have not been investigated now in 5 years and have Department of Ag inspectors here on a regular basis (meat inspections, and egg inspections) A fairly steady stream of visitors and customers and I do absolutly nothing different here than I did there. Fortunatly most of the people in AG I have to deal with are decent folks doing their job and not trying to make mine harder. That woman though and it only takes a few like her to corrupt an entire division.
Sandy well I got him back 14 days later paid the $380 boarding and evaluation fee and hid the big guy everytime I saw that bitch coming down the road trailed by the customary 2 cop cars. Sandy died in 2009. I was told by one cop that I should have just let Stacey take and kill the dog and I would not have had all the headaches she was causing me because "Buddy you really pissed her off". If I had it do do over I would have done it the same way, my dog, my nose, my problem there was never any need for Government involvment.

i dont know but i suspect that she the dog ketcher can be held personally responsible if your dog bit anybody else, i ran into similar with a building inspector that i had called to inspect the repairs and reconstruction on some burnt out apartments, fire had run down the side of the building and burnt the ends of the trusses, i replaced these trusses but i patched the gable trusses because they were sitting on endwalls. the inspector said code says you cant cut a truss, i said yea but these set on a wall, he says i am going to cover my ass, you got to get architect stamp, so i did, that guy had no business being a buikding inspector, i was talking to a guy i grew up with recently who is a architect, he said lobbies run the building code anymore, he said his work was aggrvating as hell anymore, big business i guess and common sense takes backseat
