i saw on another site that leksi Russel has been ill .... anyone here know how he is doing? prayers have been sent ... toksa ake

The only information I have is that he is presently being treated by Traditional healers. There was a post by Glen Morris on another forum that included more info, which I'm not sure if I am allowed to post here. Prayers and good thoughts would be beneficial at this time.

i read from a Facebook friend he was diagnosed with cancer at tongue and lymph glands, and he is going to traditional healers and not chemo and radiation, prayers and healing for Russell Means

via Glen Morris (CO)-Our brother, father, grandfather, friend, mentor and leader, Russell Means, is in a very difficult fight for his life, with what western doctors are calling inoperable throat, lung and lymph node cancer. I am asking that you remember our brother in your prayers. He is being taken to a number of traditional healers... for ceremonies, in Canada, in Diné country, to Lakota spiritual healers who have medicine to deal with cancer.We will have an inipi (sweatlodge) ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
