Done Jennifer despite some misgivings. The misgivings stem from this: One of the two places to send the petitions is a town about 50 miles from me. That, in and of itself, does not disqualify it. But in CA since the gold rush times many, many scams have been perpetrated.

When I signed I was surprised that it had 600,000 facebook "likes" and yet so few signatures. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Lostspirit ,did you have a chance to hear that Mother Earth conference? I did not feel it was a scam petition because of it was first announced from the conference.I don't blame you for being cautious.Thank you for signing it.Jennifer

Yeah, you are right. She called herself Redhawk, but it was written on the forum as Thunderhawk, probably was a mistake on the written part.I have also found out she is the Program Manager at Indigenous Environmental Network and the Project Manager at the Pachamama Alliance.Jennifer
