 Post subject: North Dakota not a state?

Location: Traditional homeland of the Shawnee
I stumbled across this article while getting caught up on my news. I thought it may be of some intrest of the L/D/N. I would like to think that the Lakotah peoples could regain some of their traditional lands under the 1868 Ft. Laramie treaty. Yet, the fed were theives then and they are theives now.

Interesting to say the least. It would be wonderful news if this could be used as a tool to regain some of the illegally occupied lands.
