I was wondering if anyone knew about real estate law for Native American reservations, specifically for the Pine Ridge reservation. How easy is it to purchase land? And what laws prohibit land purchasing? I'd greatly appreciate a source for this information, thank you.

Hau mitakuye.
This one sees nothing ambiguous about the phrase
"The land is not for sale".

No there is nothing ambigous about it, but those who control the lands don't quite see it that way. It has always seemed strange to me that many nations buy back land with in their own borders that was either taken from the nation or sold by people of the nation.
