I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lakotah people in this role. I
expect that all humanity will benefit from the Lakotah people reclaiming their
freedom.
My Location. I have been here for six weeks now, and need to go back to
Asheville to wrap up my affairs with the Ron Paul Blimp company and some other
personal things. I will leave as soon as tomorrow afternoon. My plan is to
return in April for a much longer stay and to establish a residence in this
area. I will continue to report everyweek while I am gone.
Legal Team. Tyler Durden, the attorney General with the Pembina Nation has been
especially helpful in showing us the genocide strategy. (See next section.)
Barry Bachrach, an attorney who worked on Leonard Peltier's case, and Diana
Merritt, a constitutional and international attorney in Washington, have been
consulting with on our various strategy options. We are scheduled to speak in
more detail with Barry tomorrow on a grand strategy plan. Dhram, a member of our
online forums, is an attorney with a major court and is helping us get
volunteers from law schools. He has already gotten positive response.
Genocide Strategy. It appears that the court with strongest authority to
adjudicate a judgment in our favor against the United States is the World Court,
on the issue of genocide. We believe we have an excellent
chance of winning such a case. We also believe the United States will recognize
this, if it does not already. Therefore, we believe that the United States would
rather negotiotiate a settlement with us than defend against a charge of
genocide. There are a number of countries willing to sponsor us before the World
Court. Russell Means and Diana Herritt, Esq. will facilitate this.
Liens on Land. So far, we have not recorded any liens. We have given notice to
the foreign governments and the title companies of our initial boundary focus
and approximate acreage. Phyllis Young has also given us information showing a
much larger land area of 190 million acres extending into 11 states and
documented by the Government Accounting Office in 1932. The legal team is
working on this. As the United States delays, our ability to solidify our land
claims will extend to a larger and larger land area.
Banking. Having our own bank is a major goal in progress. We will establish a
local bank and we are exploring overseas options. The Tuscarora have a
Luxembourg bank and have offered us their blueprint.
Currency. I am meeting in Asheville in two weeks with the president of Liberty
Dollar, a private mint, and issuer of the second largest currency in the United
States. I am very close with one of their key people. We are exploring other
options, too.
Ron Paul Supporters. My major project before I came here was manager for the
legal team for the Ron Paul Blimp. Ron Paul supporters are natural supporters
for Lakotah sovereignty. I plan to outreach to them
over the next few weeks and have already begun that process at a high level.
