Dear Friends,

With the slackening of the Spring Rains, the Summer Build kicks into construction phase.

garden2-250-right-alignSo far this summer, we’ve been able to clear and plant a tremendous garden, with 14 rows of vegetables including bush beans, sweet corn, butternut, buttercup & summer squash, as well as onions, radish, 5 types of lettuce, artichokes, peppers, and 2 full rows of tomatoes. Many thanks to Michael who braved the 2+ day bus ride from Connecticut to help us with clearing the rows of weeds and planting the many crops.

We’ve taken care of the summer weeding and cleared the ground for the Greenhouse, as well as making planning preparations for the small-scale wind and solar we will be gearing up in the next few weeks.

To date, we’ve had an awesome response of folks who are looking to help us out in the coming two months, and we are greatful for the fantastic words of support. If you are free and available to come out to the School and help us finish out the T.R.E.A.T.Y. School, as well as work on the wind turbines, get muddy in the garden or help build the T.R.E.A.T.Y. Greenhouse, please contact David Grefrath as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
